Unfortunately I don't know of a way to emulate iOS and play the iOS version on your PC, but if someone does please comment below.

For me the way to fix that was to go to my Account settings from the Play Store in BlueStacks and view my Purchase History, find Monster Hunter Stories in there and suddenly the install button showed up. Note however, there is a known issue where any previously purchased applications will not show an "Install" button and instead prompt you to purchase again. IF you purchased the game already on your Android phone, no problem, once you sign in with the same account you used to make the purchase you will be able to install it directly to BlueStacks. Once it's up all you need to do is sign in with your Google account on the Play Store and now you can make a legal purchase of Monster Hunter Stories for Android and play the game. For me it was literally download, install, boom, done.

Well what I learned recently is that you can use an Android emulator called BlueStacks (5) to play the game on your computer at a high resolution, with KB/M controls, and even set macros and keybindings for common actions like tapping certain areas of the screen. However if someone wants to elaborate on that in the comments to spread the knowledge that would be great. Unfortunately I've read that emulating a 3DS with Citra to play this game specifically is a bad idea as there are visual glitches that make the experience bad.

You can transfer your save data from the Trial Version to the Full Game (according to the in-store descriptions, I haven't tried it myself).

I'm sure most of you have smart phones so it is very easily accessible, and relatively cheap too. įor those who don't have access to a 3DS (or prefers to play on a larger screen) the mobile versions are a great option. The game was subsequently ported to iOS and Android devices with improved graphics, an updated user-interface, and other features. The original Monster Hunter Stories was originally released for the 3DS, and AFAIK emulation is legal, pirating games is not legal. I'm going to put that out there first because I will be mentioning emulation.
